The campus principal leads and directs the academic, operational, and personnel activities of an Avail campus, ensuring the implementation of Avail’s philosophy of education, vision, mission, and strategic initiatives.

Derives satisfaction from serving as a team player in a collaborative environment
Position Specific:
Master’s degree in education or related field.
Successful experience as a principal or senior leadership is preferred.
History of successfully providing leadership, direction, and coordination.
Experienced in developing, implementing, and sustaining impactful education programs.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a professional staff.
Compassion for students coupled with an ability to achieve effective discipline.
Implement educational strategies that support optimal learning for all students.
Versed in external relations and possesses an acumen for promoting Christian education.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Personnel Leadership
Recruit, develop, and lead a team of gifted educators.
Invest spiritually and professionally in each faculty and staff member to ensure joy-filled service permeates the campus.
Assist each faculty and staff member to grow and develop in all spheres.
Academic Leadership
Provide a transformational Christian education for each student.
Collaborate with the Leadership Team to implement a curriculum that meets accreditation and state standards.
Develop and oversee procedures for student achievement.
Operational Leadership
Develop budgets based on program needs, projected enrollment, personnel, and other fiscal needs.
Design and implement programs and schedules to meet student and staff needs.
Oversee services such as hot lunch, transportation, and co-curricular activities.
Supervise facility use, maintenance, and security to ensure a clean and safe campus.
