Starting the application process is an important first step in discovering a Christ-centered education that nurtures the whole child—academically, spiritually, and socially.

To start your journey with us, you’ll begin by creating an account. From there, you’ll have access to the online application. A $60 non-refundable application fee is collected per applicant. Once the application is submitted, our admissions team will reach out to you to review the next steps in the process.
Next steps
Pastor or Faith Leader Reference
As a community of Christ followers, we believe it is important for families to be active in a church community. We require that at least one of the parents be a professing Christian, and we ask that one of your pastors or faith leaders complete a reference form as part of the application process.
We utilize a tool called FACTS that allows you to submit your financial information directly to a secure site. If you wish to request financial aid, we suggest you complete this step early on in your application process. Your information remains confidential throughout the decision-making process. Families must complete the application for admission before their financial aid application will be considered.
This is a casual in-purpose conversation that prospective parents have with the campus Principal. Students in grades 6-12 are required to attend the interview with their parents. The purpose of the interview is to explore the parent’s (or guardian’s) faith commitment and desire for Christian education as it is practiced at Avail Academy.
Though not a required step in the application process, we typically ask you to consider scheduling a shadow day for students entering 6th grade and above. This is a unique opportunity for your student to make connections and for parents to feel more comfortable with their decision. Your Admissions Director will work with you to coordinate a Shadow Day for your student.
Incoming Kindergarten Students
Admitted students entering kindergarten will be scheduled for a developmental readiness assessment beginning in February. Registered kindergartners will have the opportunity to get a taste of kindergarten—parents, to attend an informational meeting—at Kindergarten Roundup in early May.
Transfer Students
If you are transferring your child in from another school, please request a transfer of records. We can provide a transfer of records request form or submit the form on your behalf if needed.
Students transferring into Avail Academy in grades 9-12 will also have an informal entrance interview with the high school principal.
Registration and enrollment Process
Registration takes place in February for returning families and for new families who have completed the admissions process. Registration includes making a financial commitment and a first payment on that commitment, as well as determining a payment plan. All tuition payments are made through our FACTS system.
