Learning Through God’s Story

At Avail Academy, we believe that all of creation belongs to God, and every subject we teach is a reflection of His truth. That’s why, for more than a decade, we adopted the Teaching for Transformation (TfT) model—a dynamic framework designed to embed God’s Word and His ways into every academic discipline. More than a curriculum, TfT helps our teachers seamlessly weave God’s story into everything we teach, from junior kindergarten through 12th grade.

Through TfT, students engage with the world through the lens of discipleship, developing valuable traits we call Throughlines. These Throughlines act as a roadmap, guiding students to see God’s fingerprints in every subject. Whether it’s math, science, or history, students learn to recognize the divine threads that connect all of life’s knowledge and experiences.

Our goal is simple: we want students to discover God’s creation, embrace His story of redemption, and step boldly into their own role in it. At Avail Academy, learning is more than preparation for the future—it’s living a life of purpose now. Through hands-on service experiences and everyday discipleship, our students don’t wait until graduation to make an impact; they are already changing the world, one lesson at a time.

The teachers, staff, families, and students are deeply immersed in the Teaching For Transformation model, which, for my own children, has impacted not only their academic growth but also their hearts and their walk with the Lord. That learning is locked in because this is implemented throughout all their work.
