We need YOU!

Sign up to be a Team Leader! It’s easy and it will be really fun! Here are the details:

GO GATHER your team! REACH OUT to 5-7 current Avail families you know and invite them to be a part of your team. Each team member will register under your team on the Avail Academy website to receive a t-shirt.

GO RAISE funds! Each team member will be reaching out to their friends and family to raise support for your team event just as they have done in the past for the Valor 5K Challenge through their family FundEasy page.

GO THANK our partners for their support! You will also find thank you notes for our various Avail Academy Partners. 

•Our Avail Academy Partners are those individuals or families who contribute to our school throughout the year.  They are separate from our business partner.

• We would like you and your team to take some time on October 24th to sign the thank you notes.  You as the team leader will bring the notes back to school on Monday, October 26th, where they will be delivered.  This is a major part of our Valor Challenge this year.  We want to make sure our partners know how much we as a school and community appreciate all of their faithful support. 

GO COMPLETE your team’s challenge on Oct. 24th!

• PICK A PLACE TO MEET UP: The Valor Challenge will be taking place on October 24th.  Teams will be celebrating all over the Twin Cities on this day.  It is up to you as team leader to decide WHERE your team will celebrate.  There are various ideas listed below.

• You will communicate with your team members when and where you plan to meet and what your physical activity will be.

• CELEBRATE TOGETHER: During the week of October 19th, we will provide you with a party-in-a-box to share with your team after your physical activity.  In your box you will find all of the t-shirts for your team members and pre-packaged treats for your team members.  

GO SOCIAL! SHARE YOUR PICS: Don’t forget to take pictures and post them on your favorite social media outlet with #Valor2020.
