Middle School Volleyball Coach | Edina Campus

Position Status: Part Time

Reports to: Edina Athletic Director

Avail Academy, Edina Campus, is seeking a knowledgeable coach to lead a middle school volleyball team during the months of September and October.

It is the goal of the Avail Academy athletic program for the student athletes to learn the skills, rules, and strategies of the various sports through teamwork and sportsmanship while bringing honor to God (Colossians 3:17.)

Avail Academy participates in the SSYO (Southside Youth Organization) along with several other private schools in the southwest metro area.

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• Loves God and enjoys working with youth.

• Collaborates effectively and positively with athletes, parents, and fellow staff members.

• Recognizes, celebrates and encourages the gifts of others.

• Is uniquely qualified and gifted by God to coach volleyball and help a team grow both athletically, communally, and spiritually.

Responsibilities:

• Leading volleyball practices after school hours one day per week.

• Coaching the team in games on one or two evenings per week.

Salary: $600
