As I continue to explore the remarkable aspects of Avail Academy, two features stand out as key components of our educational environment: thoughtfully designed facilities and our inspiring faculty. These elements not only enhance the learning experience but also contribute to the holistic development of our students.
Facilities and Resources
We have made thoughtful upgrades where they are most needed, ensuring that our students have access to the essential tools and spaces that support their academic and personal growth. Our classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters academic excellence.
Teachers carefully design their classrooms to be bright and colorful, which is so important for young children with active imaginations. They also incorporate their “Deep Hope” for their students, a key component of Teaching for Transformation.
Campuses feature dedicated areas for various educational activities, well-stocked libraries, creative art studios, resource and challenge rooms, and innovative STEM labs, each facility is designed to enhance the learning experience and encourage students to explore their interests and talents. And with the donations we’ve received through the Impact Drive, we’ll be adding a mobile science lab to enhance our high school experience.
Inspiring Faculty
More impressive is the dedication and passion of our faculty. Observing our teachers in action has been a highlight of my time at Avail Academy. I’ve seen the interaction and engagement that students have in the classroom, and that is no small feat!
Our teachers are not just educators; they are mentors, motivators, and role models. They invest time and effort in understanding student’s unique needs and strengths, tailoring their approach to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed. This personalized attention helps to build strong, trusting relationships between students and teachers, creating an environment where students feel valued and empowered.
