Small Moments. Big Impact. Celebrating Jennifer Klobe, 2025 Minndependent Honor Teacher
When great teaching meets deep purpose, transformation happens—and Jennifer Klobe is living proof.
This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate Jennifer Klobe as the 2025 Minndependent Honor Teacher—a statewide recognition given to educators who go above and beyond in their service to students and their school communities.
If you know Jennifer, this honor comes as no surprise. She is a teacher who turns ordinary lessons into unforgettable experiences. Just ask her third graders, who recently participated in a “Water Walk” inspired by their science unit. With water jugs in hand, they walked the length of the playground, simulating what children around the world endure to access clean water each day. It was hands-on learning with heart—connecting academics to empathy and action.
Jennifer also played a key role in helping shape our new Junior Kindergarten program, bringing her deep understanding of early childhood development and her servant-hearted leadership to the table. She’s the kind of educator who doesn’t just teach students—she inspires them.
