The Valor Challenge Fundraiser is open
August 30 to October 11
The Valor Challenge Fundraiser gives the Avail Academy community of friends, alumni, parents, staff, and students a chance to come together in a spirit of service and generosity. The Valor Challenge Fundraiser culminates in the Valor Challenge 5K Celebration on October 5, 2024. This is a time to get together and celebrate the service of our Avail community and the generosity of our partners, supporters, and sponsors.
Why are we fundraising?
So every family that desires a Christian education at Avail Academy can pursue that opportunity without the worry of financial limitations, and so that we can continue to deliver the best possible experience for our students.
What is our goal?
We are working to raise $150,000 for need-based financial aid class trips or outings! You can track our progress on your family fundraising page or visit this webpage to watch our progress.
Information for Families and Students
We CHALLENGE students and families to raise money by doing the following:
Serve: Serve your neighbors, family, and friends.
Build relationships where you live by asking for donations in exchange for helping your neighbors pick up leaves, weed their gardens, or take out their garbage can on trash day.
Share: Share your gifts.
Engage your family and friends by asking for a donation in exchange for a piece of art created by you.
Salvage: Make the old new.
Fix up something broken or old and sell it.
Sacrifice: Give something up.
Give up your morning coffee run or fast food lunch for the month of October and donate your savings from your sacrifice.
Important Fundraising Information:
Fundraising will run from August 30 to October 11.
On August 30, 2024, you will receive an email from FundEasy. Follow the instructions in your email to get your family team webpage set up.

Once you have an account set up, you can use this FundEasy link to sign back in at any time.
Cash and check donations will be recorded in FundEasy. All cash and check donations will need to be turned into the main office at each campus.
Students will receive prizes for their fundraising efforts!
Prizes will be distributed Sept 18, Oct 2, and Oct 16. So, please ensure you get all donations in by Tuesday morning in order for them to count toward their fundraising total for the week.
The Valor Challenge 5K Celebration
The 5K Celebration will be a time to get together and celebrate the service of our Avail community and the generosity of our partners, supporters, and sponsors. Let’s join together to walk and run the Lake Harriet pathway with our family and friends. Donuts, fruit, water, and coffee will be provided.
Register for this event and a free t-shirt before September 12, 2024. If you miss the registration deadline, have no fear! Please join us and register the day of. Just make sure to arrive early in order to get your bib.
When? Saturday, October 5, from 8:45 am - 12 noon

Please do not bring bikes, scooters, or rollerblades. We have had issues in the past, and want to be good neighbors to other non-Avail creation enjoyers!
